• Login Information: When you log in to the game using your email and password, we collect and store this information to manage your account.

• Device Information: We collect the device ID of the Android device on which you play "Criminal City." This information ensures that the game operates only on real Android devices and saves your progress if you play as a guest. The device ID is not used for tracking or advertising purposes 

• Photos Selected by the User: If you choose a profile picture from your device’s photo library, the selected image may be uploaded to our servers to display your profile picture in the Game. Access is limited to the single image you choose.

• Purchase Information: If you make in-app purchases, we may collect transaction details, including purchase amount, item purchased, and purchase status. This information is necessary to process the transaction and deliver the purchased items or features in the game. Payment information is processed by Google Play’s secure payment system and is not stored on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Account Management: We use your email and password to manage your account, including saving your game progress and ensuring your game data is secure.

• Device Verification: The device ID is used to verify that the game is running on a real Android device and to protect your game progress if you uninstall and later reinstall the game.

• Profile Pictures: If you select a photo from your device to use as a profile picture, it will be used solely for displaying your profile within the Game. We do not use the photo for any other purpose. 

• In-App Purchases: We use your purchase information to process and complete your transaction, deliver the items purchased, and provide you with any additional features or benefits associated with the purchase.

4. Access to Photos and Profile Pictures

• Photo Access Permission: The Game may request access to your device’s photos to allow you to select an image to use as your profile picture. This access is limited only to choosing an image; the Game does not access or scan the rest of your photo library.

• Profile Pictures: When you choose a photo from your device to use as your profile picture, a copy of the selected image may be uploaded to our servers for display within the Game. The image is used solely for this purpose and will not be shared with any third parties.

• No Camera or Biometric Use: The Game does not request camera access, take photos, or use any form of facial recognition or biometric processing.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, including profile pictures selected from your device. Your data is solely used for the purposes described in this policy. However, we may share limited data with game moderators if necessary for enforcing the game's rules and ensuring the safety and integrity of the community. This may include your username, game progress, and any behavior-related data.

• Payment Processors: Payment information related to in-app purchases is processed by Google Play's secure payment system, and we do not store or manage payment details directly.

6. Moderators and Community Management

• Role of Moderators: Game moderators are responsible for maintaining the rules and ensuring fair play within "Criminal City." Moderators may access certain user data, including usernames and gameplay activity, to investigate and resolve issues such as cheating or harassment.

• Data Access for Moderators: Moderators do not have access to sensitive personal information like passwords or photos. They can only view data necessary to maintain game integrity and resolve disputes.

• Moderator Actions: If a player violates the game’s code of conduct, moderators have the ability to:

Ban from Chat: Temporarily ban players from using the in-game chat for a specified period, depending on the severity of the violation.

Remove Profile Picture: Remove the player’s profile picture for violating community guidelines. The player may be asked to upload a new profile picture if deemed    appropriate.

• Assistance with Server Issues: Moderators also assist the development team by notifying us of any server-related issues or bugs. They are encouraged to contact the developers directly to report disruptions, downtime, or other technical problems affecting gameplay.

7. Third-Party Services

"Criminal City" uses Firebase Authentication (via Gmail) for user login and Google Play's secure payment system for in-app purchases. No other third-party services are integrated into the game. 

8. User Rights

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us at support@criminalcitygame.com. These actions cannot be performed directly inside the Game, but we will process all requests manually.

• Purchase History: You can view your purchase history through your Google Play account, which is managed by Google.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including photos, personal data, and purchase details, from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of data transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

10. Data Retention

We retain your account information, device ID, gameplay progress, and purchase records for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be permanently deleted, except for information required for legal, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will notify you via an in-game message. Your continued use of "Criminal City" after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
