1. Introduction

Welcome to Criminal City ("the Game"). By accessing or using the Game, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Game. 

2. Accounts

• Account Creation: To access certain features of the Game, you may be required to create an account using your email and password, or by logging in as a guest. You can also log in using your Gmail account through Firebase Authentication.

• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

3. Use of the Game

• License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to:

  • Use any cheats, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software to interact with the Game.

  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Game’s operation.

  • Upload or use inappropriate or offensive profile pictures.

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other players through private messages or global chat.

4. Camera Access and Profile Pictures

• Camera Permission: By granting access to your device’s camera, you allow the Game to use your camera for the purpose of taking and uploading a profile picture.

• Profile Pictures: You may upload a profile picture using the camera. You agree not to upload inappropriate or offensive images. We reserve the right to remove any images that violate these Terms.

• Data Use: Photos taken via the camera and used as profile pictures are stored locally on your device and may be transmitted to our servers for use within the Game. These photos are only used for the intended purpose of displaying your profile picture and will not be shared with third parties.

5. In-App Purchase

• Purchases: The Game offers in-app purchases, including virtual goods and other content that can enhance your gaming experience. By making an in-app purchase, you agree to the terms outlined for such transactions, and that the payment will be processed through Google Play’s secure payment system.

• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Google Play and subject to its terms and conditions. We do not store your payment information directly.

• Refunds: In-app purchases are non-refundable, except as required by law or according to Google Play’s refund policy. Any issues with payments or refunds should be directed to Google Play support.

• Virtual Goods: Virtual goods purchased in the Game are for personal, non-commercial use within the Game only and cannot be transferred to other users or redeemed for real-world currency.

6. Player Interaction

• Messaging and Chat: The Game includes private messaging between players and a global chat feature. Players are expected to interact respectfully.

• Profile Pictures: You may upload a profile picture. Inappropriate or offensive images are prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: All content, features, and functionality of the Game, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of MTMA and are protected by intellectual property laws.

• User Content: By submitting content (e.g., messages, profile pictures) within the Game, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute such content.

8. Updates

• Game Updates: We may release updates to the Game to improve functionality or add new features. You will be notified of available updates through a dialog box when you open the Game, and it is your responsibility to download and install these updates.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Disclaimer: The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Game will be error-free or available at all times.

• Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, MTMA shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Game.
